Revolutionizing Water Generation with Cloud Integration

A company that produces water dispensers capable of generating water from thin air needed a more efficient way to monitor and maintain their machines. We developed a cloud-integrated platform that allows them to remotely monitor and troubleshoot devices, reducing the need for on-site technicians and improving efficiency.

Overview

We partnered with a company that produces water dispensers capable of generating water from the humidity in the air, providing enough clean and filtered water to match the output of traditional 5-gallon dispensers.

These devices, which are easy to install and require only electricity, are used in corporate offices and school districts across the country. The company needed a system that would allow them to monitor and maintain their devices remotely, as previously, technicians had to visit each location to diagnose and fix any issues. Our solution was to develop a cloud-based integration that allows real-time monitoring, error detection, and remote troubleshooting for each dispenser. This integration now allows administrators to see the status of each machine, troubleshoot problems remotely, and track the amount of water generated and dispensed—all through a centralized dashboard.

The Challenge

Before integrating with the cloud, the company faced significant operational challenges. When an issue arose with one of the water dispensers, a technician had to physically visit the location to assess and resolve the problem. This process was both time-consuming and costly, leading to delays in service and increased operational expenses. The company needed a solution that would allow them to monitor the health of their machines, diagnose errors, and troubleshoot problems remotely, all while reducing the need for on-site visits. Additionally, they wanted to track water generation and usage, and create an intuitive interface for managing machines and associated companies in real time.

What We Achieved

The cloud integration transformed the company’s operations by enabling real-time monitoring and remote maintenance for their water dispensers. Administrators can now log in to a cloud-based dashboard, create and manage machines, assign devices to companies, monitor water generation, and remotely troubleshoot issues.

This has significantly reduced the need for on-site technician visits, cutting costs and improving response times. In addition, the system tracks the amount of water generated and dispensed, providing valuable data for the company and its clients. Not only does this solution improve efficiency, but it also reinforces the company's commitment to sustainability by eliminating the need for bottled water deliveries and reducing CO2 emissions. The potential for scaling this solution to more schools, offices, and beyond is endless.
